Allison is the DES social worker. "She has always given her best to us teachers and students. She puts the kids first and is always thinking about how to best meet students needs. She has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure kids are fed, clothed, clean, and have their basic needs met so us teachers can teach kids that are ready to learn. She is implementing a lot of wonderful things here at DES not only for the kids, but for the teachers as well. Mr. Minton stays late working everyday. Students love to be in Mr. Minton's room. Mr. Minton has done numerous performances and parades, even though it is his first year. His students are moving around the room, working in groups, creating music, and performing music. "Jennifer is always trying to motivate her kids in class and outside of school, she keeps in great contact with every parent/guardian that is on her caseload to assure them of their goals and progress. She also works extremely hard and is very dedicated to her cheerleading team/cheer competition team to help them achieve success, this was demonstrated last year when the cheer team finished the highest in school history.
