A Note from the Principal:
Hope this finds you well! We are only one week away from the end of our first quarter. Thank you for all of your support bringing students back safely. October will be a busy month as we kick of "Anti-Bully Awareness" month and Red Ribbon Week (say no to drugs). Please take note of the October dates and let us know if you have any questions.
Teachers are sending out "sign-ups" for your virtual conferences. Students do not have school the week of October 12-15th, we will instead have parent conferences and staff professional development. Conferences will be held on Tuesday, 10/13, 7:00am - 7:00 pm and on Wednesday, 10/14, 7:30-11:30am. We hope to see you virtually to discuss student beginning of the year data, supports, and happenings.
Also, Patriot will host a Virtual Title I Family Event (in lieu of our past Family Nights). On Tuesday, 10/13, please drive by to pick up a free pizza and a deck of cards. Sign up for your free family
It is an honor to serve as Patriot's principal. Your children are amazing and we love them! #patriotstrong

Patriot's Veteran's Day Celebration:
In preparation for our virtual Veterans Day celebration, Patriot Elementary is asking for assistance to help us honor members of our community who have served or are still serving in the armed forces. Submit a photo of your Military Hero along with their name, branch, title and rank to kpolyefko@ffc8.org.
On Friday, October 2, you will be receiving an email from DocuSign (one email for each student) regarding Federal Impact Aid Survey Forms. Please use the DocuSign link to verify the information, make changes as necessary and sign electronically. The information will be automatically sent back to the District. All data is kept confidential.
For funding reasons, it is important that we receive a signed form back for every individual student, so please plan to fill out each form/link you receive.Thank you so much for completing the survey form and helping to ensure that the District continues to receive the appropriate amount of Federal Impact Aid funding.
If you have any questions, please call Veronica Garretson or Joanne Vergunst at 719.382.1300.
A note from our school nurse, Mrs. Porter:
We have students at Patriot who have no immunization records or are missing immunizations. Please contact me or bring in updated ones, that would be greatly appreciated! We will also contact families who need to turn in records.
