Notes from the teacher

Candy Corn Science: As an introduction to the Scientific Method, we conducted an experiment of the question: Which liquids dissolve candy corn? Students made hypotheses of whether the candy corn will sink/float in each liquid, change the color the liquid, and dissolve/which one would dissolve the candy corn the fastest. Check out the pictures below to see your scientists at work! :)

Powerful Characters Culminating Project: This week students were introduced to and began working on this Unit's Culminating Project, a scrapbook from the point of view of a character from a book of their choice! Stay tuned for information regarding the day and time of their Culminating Presentations!

Graded Assignments Log: Please be sure to look over your child's graded papers from this past week, sign the Graded Assignments Log, and fill it out with any questions you may have. :)

OnCampus: Students were given logins for OnCampus as well as other academic websites used in class. Have your child show you how to log on to OnCampus, MyMath, and more!
