St. Stanislaus STAR

January 13 , 2016

FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK

It is a great day in the kingdom of God here at St. Stanislaus School!

This morning in church the younger grades (K-4) said the rosary with a recording. It was a beautiful way to begin the day and our students were very attentive.

We hope to see you at the Home and School meeting tonight beginning at 6:15 in the gym. The agenda was sent home last week. Guest Speaker Denise Barnes is sure to deliver an important message to all of us tonight. You don’t want to miss the “advertisement” for the Catholic Schools Week talent show. In addition we hope to have a special announcement to share. These meetings are great opportunities to come together as a school community to share faith, fun, food, and fellowship.

Our new sign is working as of today! How exciting! The parish office and the school share this sign and we can control it from our desks. No more changing the sign in the heat, cold, rain, snow, and bugs! This gift was a donation and we are very thankful.

The school continues to look for a music teacher. Please help us find this special person.

Thank you for being extra careful on Monday when there was ice. Using our Facebook page was the quickest way to get the message out. I know not everyone got the message. Now we can use our new sign if this happens again.

Let us enjoy the sunshine while we can.

Using the School Facilities

This note is a reminder of the process for using the school facilities such as the gym and cafeteria. Use of these facilities needs permission from the pastor by calling the Parish Office at 636-4925. The principal, the Athletic Director, and classroom teachers do not have the authority to grant permission for anyone to use the facilities without first getting permission from the pastor. All practices for school sports must be approved and put on the parish calendar. Permission is required for liability purposes. Thank you for following these guidelines.
