MITCHELL’S CRES FEST AUCTION BASKET
Our largest fundraiser for the entire school year is just around the corner. CRES FEST our annual carnival night is APRIL 24 from 5:30-8pm! We need your support in order for this night to be successful. Each classroom for every grade is asked to donate a themed basket for our silent auction. Miss. Mitchell’s is MOVIE NIGHT. I will have a basket in Miss. Mitchell’s classroom for donations for our basket. This donation is optional. Ideas for donations include but not limited to: gift cards to local movie theater, candy, large popcorn bowl, blanket, popcorn maker, flavored salts for popcorn, or fun drinking cups with lids… I could keep going but I am sure you have already come up with a fabulous idea! If you would like to make a cash/check donation that is welcome as well. Make checks out to CRES PTO- put check/cash in envelope labeled to NICOLE DUNN. I will buy a gift card to IMAX Theater with all $ donates!
+++PLEASE HAVE ALL DONATIONS IN BY MAR 20+++

This week we will be focusing on exact time to the minute, 5 minutes, half hour.
Moby Max is a website that is used for MANY different reasons. The reason that we as educators like it is for Math. I like how it gives the students math at their level. It also self motivates by allowing game time when tasks are completed. Everyone is set up but not everyone has been on yet!

We Have Dreams
The Friday before MLK day, we watched his famous "I Have a Dream" speech. We talked about how we felt, what we were wondering, and any thoughts we had. It was such a wonderful experience for me to watch my students talk about how things would be so different. We are all thankful for the changes that Martin Luther King Jr. Spoke about. We wrote our own dreams and posted them in the hallway.
What Now, What Next
The goal is to promote independence. In every subject, I teach a mini lesson, we go practice, and then we go off and do a lot of different things. This is a new way of organizing what our day looks like!
I love that we can all be silly together! One of my favorite pictures!!
