Field Day is THIS Friday!
ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL
ARRIVAL:
We will be setting up in the front drive when school begins at 7:50. We will leave the front few parking spots available for parking and turning around, but please know that the front drive will be closed to through traffic once the bell rings as we get set for the first groups coming out at 8:30.DISMISSAL:
Our last groups will finish up around 2:20 and will then help bring in equipment. We will be ready for cars to enter the front drive no earlier than 2:30.
Coming to Field Day?
All but two of our stations are outside. While you are welcome to follow a class into the gym for their 2 indoor stations, we respectfully ask that you stay within the three Field Day zones.
Lunch
Color Teams
Each class was randomly divided into six teams using the Team Shake app. Students will find out Monday or Tuesday what team they landed on! Every color team is represented throughout the entire school. We encourage students to make Friday a Team Color Spirit Day!! In the five South Side stations students have an opportunity to earn points for their color team. This friendly competition is meant to unite the entire school in a fun way - there will be NO prize for the winning color :)
THANK YOU!!!
We've also received many trinkets, thank you for using our Amazon wishlist to help stock the trinket station for our kiddos!
You will notice a lot of signs around the campus on Field Day. A huge shout out to Mrs. O'Connell and all of our Bear Creek Cubs Artists for helping to make Field Day even more colorful and fun!!
Beating the Heat
Help students stay safe by having them wear sunscreen and talking to them about staying hydrated!

Maps and Schedules
Field Day is broken into three zones; North Side, Front Yard, and South Side. The North and South Side zones will have five 6-minute structured stations as designated on the teacher's schedule (each schedule is specific to a teacher), and the Front Yard is a free choice zone where all students in that zone are free to choose different activites for about 30 minutes.
The link below will take you to a slide deck that will show you maps and individual class schedules. It is linked so that you can flip between schedules and maps.
