Itinerary Updates
1. Six Flags has moved to a cashless operation. As such, all students will now be provided with a dining card. This will cover the following:
- Meal
- Snack
- Unlimited drinks throughout the day
This option will ensure all students are well-nourished. This card can be used at virtually ALL food vendors, with the exception of any outside establishments (Starbucks, etc.) operating within the park.
If students wish to purchase additional food, snacks, souvenirs, they have two options:
- Bring cash and use one of the convertible kiosks to convert cash to a card
- Bring a debit/ credit/ gift card.
2. On Saturday, the dinner will be a sit down meal at the hotel (Marriott Tyson's Corner). It will consist of a pizza buffet with options for students who are vegan/ dietary allergies.
All parents/ guardians will receive a final itinerary this week. However, I wanted to communicate these changes to all. This final itinerary will be sent through the trip-specific band app.
Medication Turn In Night: Tuesday, April 26 7 - 9pm
All medications for the trip must be turned in on Tuesday, April 26 between 7 - 9 pm. Please drop off medication to our nurses in the main lobby of EAHS. On this night, we will check to ensure we have the proper medication administration form on file.
The procedure for turning in medication can be found in the picture below. If you have questions on how to bring in your medicine please contact Mrs. Ferretti, our head nurse.
UPDATE: Allergy Medication
On our 2021 - 2022 medical form, all parents/ guardians indicated whether a student would be permitted to take Sudafed. If this box is checked, our nurses are able to give them Sudafed.
HOWEVER, if you prefer they take Claritin, Allegra, or Mucinex, please see the procedures below:
1. Complete a medication administration form (if possible, have your doctor sign this form). If not, please complete without doctor signature, but parent/ guardian signature.
2. Return this form on Tuesday evening between 7 - 9pm at the medication turn in. You do NOT need to bring Claritin, Allegra, or Mucinex. Our nurses will have this on them to give to any student with the proper forms completed.
3. If you have any questions, please reach out directly to Mr. Ballentine or Mrs. Ferretti, our head nurse. You can text Mrs. Ferretti at: (484) 264 8780

General Info
Mrs. Palmer - Retirement
If you have not heard, Mrs. Palmer is retiring at the end of this school year after 32 years of service in Easton. She expressed to me that she didn't want anything special, but she has meant so much to so many people that we need to make her last concert one to remember. Mrs. Nancy Ebert, a former band mom, came up with the idea of "filling the auditorium". I think that is a perfect idea. It would be awesome to fill all 1750 seats! I know she has been sharing the word as well. Please share this information with your child, have them share with their friends, spread the word. It would be awesome if we could have students from her early days as well. However all are invited including parents.
I would like to create a memory book/video for her as well. I am attaching a google form that has some questions and has the ability for you to upload any photos or videos that you may have of Mrs. Palmer or the band. Pass the link along to anyone you know had her, the more the merrier!

If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to email me. Let's make her last concert her most memorable--and lets keep it a secret. I would love to see her face when she sees a full house.
