A Note From the Principal, Mrs. Lincoln
Dear Whitney Community,
We are in times of trials with many unknowns, we are in times of hearing "Let's see what happens" and "One step at a time". I understand the frustration and concern that surrounds our current situation.
I want you to know that I am here ready to listen. I am here ready to take on the challenge of re-opening school whether it be virtual or face to face. I am here ready to process and brainstorm ways to make it safe for everyone involved. I know I may not have the answer you are looking for but I hope that you will walk with me as we explore this path together and find solutions.
Let's create a community of grace and flexibility while we navigate as a community, together, side by side. Together we are stronger and we will rise above the trials if we stick together while maintaining an open mindset and positive outlook... even when fear overwhelms us and takes control of our emotions. We can do this.
Thank you for all you have done during these challenging time to provide your child with the support they need. When life takes us down roads where we don't have control of the wheel it's important circle around the things you DO have control over. Now more than ever staying present in the moment and focusing on what we can be grateful for is what can help carry us through this season. You are important and we value your perspectives, concerns and questions. Please share with me, I am here for you.
Sincerely,
Jolene Lincoln
