FIELD DAY TOMORROW, MONDAY JUNE 6
A MESSAGE FROM OUR NURSES
Students must wear sneakers and socks for Field Day. Sneakers provide much more support to the foot and ankle during physical activity. There will be many fun activities such as 3-legged races and an obstacle course; we want everyone to be safe and injury free.
Please apply sunscreen to your children before they come to school. We will be enjoying a nice, sunny day tomorrow and want to be sure all students are sufficiently protected.
CHORUS CONCERT, THURSDAY JUNE 9
Our chorus students have been working very hard and are excited to share the joy of music-making with you. We are thrilled to bring back live performances.
This year's concert will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022 in the Mansfield High School Auditorium. The concert will begin at 7pm and will last approximately half an hour. Chorus students should arrive at the auditorium at 6:15pm. The auditorium will open up for seating at approximately 6:45pm.
Concert Attire:
Children will wear their chorus t-shirts and may wear either shorts, pants, jeans or skirts. They should also wear comfortable shoes.
It has been a pleasure working with your children this spring in preparation for our upcoming concert. We look forward to sharing a wonderful evening of music with you!

WEIRD LIKE US and FOR EVERYONE
They also had a fun visit with Elly Swartz. Students were so engaged in her discussions. She empowered students to be themselves and showed them that the dictionary talks about how the word weird means extraordinary. We should embrace our inner weirdness and be proud of our unique abilities. In her book she has a weird poem, so our class created a slide deck based on her model.
