Thesis Statement

Throughout the novel Walk Two Moons, Sharon Creech uses judgments to tell the readers not to judge others quickly.

Judgment 1 : Mrs. Cadaver

One of the judgments that phoebe brings up is about Mrs. Cadaver.

"she scares me half to death." Phoebe cried (creech 22).

And a couple more sentences in she explains herself to Sal by Saying,

"Cadaver means dead body."

Phoebe also makes some judgments that she killed her husband with an axe which was not the case. She did not kill her husband he dad a few years ago at that time.

Judgment 2 : Mike Bickle

Mike Bickle came to the Winterbottoms house in search for Mrs. Winterbottom, but Sal and Phoebe open it instead. Phoebe instantly thinks the worse and gives him the title of the lunatic (Creech 42,43). Sal thought it was bizarre but didn't think he was a total lunatic. The reason he was looking for Mrs. Winterbottom was because she is his birth mom.
