Activities This Week
Mrs. Ryan's Pre-Kindergarten Class
In Class
Science
Children will be able to identify the habitat that each zoo animal belongs in. There will be three bowls set up. The first bowl will have water, second bowl will have dirt, and the last bowl will have grass. The student must place the little toy animal in one of the habitats.
Math
It is extremely important that each child must know how to set up a graph properly. In the halls there will be numerous pictures of each animal taped to the wall. The children will fill out the graph by walking to each picture on the wall and identifying the animal then coloring on box on the graph under that animal. At the end, we will count as a class how many total animals we found.
History
I believe that children should be informed about the endangerment the animals face daily. We will be reading a book about zoo animals which specifically states the exact endangerment and future distinction the animals may face.
