Rugby
Rugby is during the fall and is a sport similar to football. The team practices are about three hours long and are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In touch rugby there are seven people on the field at a time, in tackle rugby there are up to eleven people on the field. Rugby is a very tough sport which requires a lot of technique and practice.
Lacrosse
Lacrosse is a contact sport that is played with a small rubber ball and sticks. The game can be played in multiple ways. There is men's field lacrosse, women's lacrosse, box lacrosse and intercrosse. In all game types they have defenders, attackers, goalies, and mid-fielders. The goal of teams is to protect your goal while trying to score on the other teams goal. They accomplish that through good field position and stick or body checking. Although lacrosse seems like it would be more injury prone it on average has less injury than american football.
Mimes
The key to being a good mime is not speaking. The bakers dozen mime troupe is a group of talented mimes who perform skits/plays using only gestures, action, and props. There are 13 mimes in this very talented group. They have practice right after school; the practices are very fun and miming teaches you self control.
