Summer Reading 2015

Grades 6-8

We are excited to release our new summer reading program! Reading outside of the classroom is critical for maintaining and expanding literacy skills; especially over the extended summer break. In addition, it encourages students to become lifelong readers and provides an opportunity for students and families to connect with local libraries and book stores.

Students who read at least one book and complete the posted summer reading assignment will be awarded extra credit in his/her English class in September. English teachers will post the extra credit assignment in their courses in the fall.
