Digital Learning Environment

In order to prepare our students for the 21st century and be successful in the real-world once they graduate, our teachers are moving towards engaging students through a digital learning environment. Teachers have attended several technology related trainings such as Bring Your Own Technology (BYOT) Explosion and the Region 6 Technology Training focusing on Project-Based Learning, Edmodo, Web 2.0, and BYOT. In addition, some teachers have also visited Brenham ISD to see technology integration in elementary classrooms. As a result, you may notice that students are not bringing home as many review sheets, textbooks, or worksheets. Teachers are having students utilize their own devices to complete warm-ups, google new information, and create products. If you have any questions about digital learning environments, please don't hesitate to contact me.
