An emergning artist from Maryland
Brett makes works that are sculptural art pieces. He focuses mostly on form but all of his pieces also have function to them as well. His pieces are influenced by pop culture and pop are. He uses very vibrant colors and bold designs to make his pieces stand out. He gets inspiration for his work from Pop Art, the toy industry, graffiti, Flash Art, and nightlife. He likes to be messy and doesn't like having specific designs.
He has also done a study on crystals and their asymmetrical shapes for several of his pieces. Brett was featured in an edition of Ceramics Monthly in 2012 and an immerging artist. He grew up in Pittsburg and his father working in the factories while his mother stayed at home. He grew up running around the streets of Pittsburg and decided to go into art. His pieces are geometric and messy.
