4th Annual Titus Book Swap . . .
In celebration of Dr. Seuss’ birthday, we will hold our 4th Annual Titus Book Swap on March 2nd. We ask that you search your book shelves for gently used trade books, chapter books, children’s cookbooks, etc. to donate to this event. Boxes are located in the rotunda and labeled by grade/reading level. Please deposit the books in the appropriate boxes.
We ask each child to donate between 2-4 books. We are looking forward to another successful year of swapping out our favorite titles!!!
Reading Olympics - The Training Has Begun . . .
For this year's Reading Olympics competition, Titus will be represented by four teams. The team members have been busy reading and recording books along with participating in mock competitions. Everyone looks forward to representing Titus and bringing home some blue ribbons on April 7.
Author Skypes with 4th Grade. . .
Titus 4th graders have been very enthusiastic about their reading recently in preparation for an author Skype session with Crimebiters! My Dog is Better Than Your Dog's author, Tommy Greenwald. All 4th graders received a copy of Mr. Greenwald's book. Students also had the opportunity to Skype with Mr. Greenwald in a question and answer session to learn more about what life is like as an author, how he wrote his first Crimebiters! book.
The students enjoyed speaking with a known professional author, and even got a sneak peek at the cover for the sequel to Crimebiters! My Dog is Better Than Your Dog which will be out this summer!

Yearbook - Pictures Needed . . .
Just a reminder: If anyone has pictures from any Titus event, we would love to include them in the yearbook. Please follow this link to add them to the Titus Dropbox or email them to Kerry Veith. In addition to events, we can always use pictures from grade specific activities (100th day, field trips, etc.)
Even just one picture makes a difference! If you have any questions, please email Kerry Veith.
Attention 6th Grade Parents:
PICTURES NEEDED: Once again, we would like to celebrate the graduating 6th grade class by looking back at the friendships and memories they have made at Titus by including a couple “Memory” pages to the yearbook. In order to do this we need your help! If each of you could look through old pictures from your 6th grader’s years at Titus and share them through the Titus Dropbox . Our goal is to have EVERY 6th grader included!
If you have any questions you can contact Kerry Veith . Deadline for submitting pictures is Friday March 18th.
