First debate of Lincoln and Douglas.
Stephen who was the leader of Democratic Party accused Lincoln of " forming a group to abolition slavery.
More people came for the second debate.
Douglas argued that if the citizens of a state or territory didn't want slavery, it didn't really matter what the Supreme Court said.
After two years in the election 1,500 people have relocated from slave states.
Douglas didnt believe in having "negro" in states ad aren't citizens as he said in his speech.
Saying it should stay the same as the "fathers" made the state and keep it as whites.
