Staff Casual Week for Relay for Life!
Staff may donate $5 to Relay for Life and dress down ALL WEEK! There will be a donation envelope in the office!
NWEA Spring Benchmark Window Begins
The spring NWEA Benchmark Testing Window ends this Friday, 5/20. Please be sure to use the M-STEP and NWEA Testing Schedule to make sure that the Computer Lab and Chromecarts are available for your testing.
M-STEP
Our 4th graders will take their final M-STEP tests this week! Please continue to remind your students to be extra quiet and respectful as they travel the halls for specials, to/from lunch/recess, etc. Thank you!!!
Superintendent Interviews
The final round of the Superintendent Interviews are this Tuesday (5/17) beginning at 6pm at the Board Office. Doug will be giving each candidate a tour of the district today (Monday).
CULVER'S NIGHT!
This Wednesday, May 18 is CULVER's NIGHT for State Road from 4:30-6:30pm sponsored by our Tiger Leadership Committee! Please help promote this great event!
POPCORN DAY!
This Friday, May 20 is our Final POPCORN DAY of the Year! It will also be the "Golden Ticket Day!" All bags just $0.50.
Jazz Band Assembly
Our annual FHS Jazz Band Assembly is this Friday, May 20 beginning at 1:45pm in the Cafetorium! An announcement will be made to dismiss classes!
Fenton Tiger Trot & 5K Run/Walk
This Saturday, May 21 is the Fenton Tiger Trot and 5K Run/Walk! It's not too late to sign up! It would be great to have a ton of State Road staff and families participate in this fun event!
Bike/Walk - A - Thon!!!
This Saturday, May 21 (right after the Tiger Run) is the BIKE/WALK-A-THON at the FHS Parking Lot from 11am-2pm to support the LAFF Pathway project! This event was created by our students and staff in Mrs. Brooks, Mrs. Brizendine, and Mrs. Clarke's classrooms! Please help support this great event and tell all of your students and families this week!
Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible!
Please continue to make the extra effort to promote, practice, and model our Daily Affirmation of being Safe, Respectful, and Responsible. Please continue to escort your students to/from Specials and remind them of our shared expectations while working independently in the halls or travelling with a friend to other locations throughout the building. Thank you all for your continued help with this!

OBSERVATIONS / EVALUATION PROCESS UPDATE!
ALL Observations are finished!!! Yeah!!!
I will begin working on our Summative Evaluations over the next few weeks. Summative Evaluation Meetings will begin sometime in May. More information on these meetings will be shared at our next staff meeting.
