There will be No School on Monday, January 23rd due to Teacher Inservice
The school is in need of pants and new underwear in youth sizes 6-10 for the nurses office. We prefer leggings or athletic or sweat pant styles because they are most universal to all shapes and sizes. Parents of students in PREK through grade 1, please make sure your student has an extra set in their backpack in the event they may have an accident or get wet on the playground. Thank you!
Reminder to SENIORS: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ORDERED YOUR CAP, GOWN, ROBE & STOLE if you have not already done so. You must order directly online at www.jostens.com The absolute deadline for ordering caps and gowns is March 1st, 2023. THIS IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY! PLEASE COMPLY ASAP
ECFE classes will begin February 14th-May 9th. Please contact Mrs. Mayer at 218-644-3737 ext. 4134 or email@example.com if you would like to register your student.
Yearbooks are on sale for $40 right now until April 25th. After that the price will go up and you will have to pay for shipping. You can order online at https://www.entourageyearbooks.com/ OR fill out a form outside the office.
6th grade Passion Project
Over the course of the next few weeks hearing and vision screenings will be done on students in grades 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11. This is a screening tool used by schools to identify students with potential concerns NOT a full diagnostic screening like at the eye doctors office. If a concern is identified you will receive a letter with recommended follow up steps. If you wish your child does NOT participate, please contact the school nurse at 218-644-3737 x 4138

Broadband Grants Available
Minnesota’s Department of Employment and Economic Development has launched the Broadband Line Extension Connection Program. The purpose of the program is to award grants for the extension of existing broadband infrastructure to unserved locations. People can report to the Office of Broadband Development (OBD) that a wired broadband service is unavailable at their residence or business by entering information into the online application, by calling 651-259-7610 and requesting a paper application, or by talking to someone at OBD who will complete the application on their behalf.
This is an opportunity to support digital equity needs in your schools and community by supporting families to complete the application.
