For The Betterment of Our Students!
Hello Main Street Family!
Thank you to all who attended attended the Heritage Bowl and Spelling Bee! Main Street showed up and showed out! Now that our students have proven they CAN achieve academic excellence when in the spotlight, let's encourage them to consistently perform in their classrooms.
Monday, February 12, 2023 is now an asynchronous day for all students. Students will complete assignments from home. Students in grades 3-5 can put the finishing touches on their Science Fair projects.
Valentine's Day is Tuesday February 14, 2023. We welcome classroom distribution of cards to the entire class. However, we discourage students bringing in gifts for individual students.
Thank you for allowing us to educate your children!
Have a great weekend!

Ms. McMahon's class celebrates 100 Days of School!
First graders had a great time counting to 100 using cereal and then making necklaces.
I have been contacted by the Upland Borough Police Department with the following concerns:
- Parent crossing their children on Main Street typically from Castle Avenue, into the flow of traffic
- Parents crossing their children at 6th Street across to McClintock Drive
I am encouraging who drop their children off, to park on Main Street south facing 6th Street to avoid crossing traffic ways.
Please be advised: Effective Tuesday, January 17, 2023, police will be enforcing pedestrian laws on Main Street and parents are not to cross the roadway against traffic.
The safety of our students, parents and families are our utmost concern!
CUSD Technology Usage
Parents and Guardians:
Chromebooks or other technological devices are sent home with students to complete assignments on asynchronous days. These devices must be used to complete assignments given by your child's teacher or teachers. Students may not download games, wallpapers or participate in video group discussions. Please monitor your children to ensure they are not using their devices to participate in any of the above activities. Improper use of technology could result in the student losing privileges of using the school's device.
All students must report to school in uniform everyday!
All adults interested in assisting our students, must submit a child abuse clearance form. You may obtain this document by clicking the link below:
Car Line
Parents:
Please refrain from making u turns in the car line during dismissal. The safety of our children and parents is of utmost importance to us. We would like to move the cars through the line without any disruptions.
