ALL Students Will Learn Remotely from April 12-April 14
Face-to-Face students should return to the classroom on Thursday, April 15!
Pick Up Your Spirals!
Pick Up Spirals from 8am-11am or 12pm-1:30pm Daily!
These Spirals should be picked up for ALL virtual students. Face-to-Face students have their Spirals in the classroom.
It is best to email Mr. Keyton at keytonj@fultonschools.org to make a pickup time appointment.

iReady 50 2 100 Club
- complete at least 50 minutes in BOTH iReady Reading π and iReady Math π
- at least 2 lessons completed for the week (1 in Reading π and 1 in Math π)
- score of 100% on all lessons
iReady Wednesday Homework
Students will complete 30 min of iReady Reading π and iReady Math π each Wednesday
This will help us meet grade level and schoolwide iReady goals!

- Draw and label 2 pictures that use any of the following final stable syllables: -ble, -fle, -ple, -dle, -tle, -gle, -tion. Send a picture π· to your teacher.
- Take your phonics quiz in the Nearpod.
ELA π
- Complete the Word Study (p. 200) and Text Dependent Questions (p. 201-202) for "Unmeltable Ice Cream" by Reading A-Z.

- You can complete the work on a sheet of paper π or in your Blue ELA Spiral. Send a picture π·to your teacher.
Writing π
- Watch the following YouTube videos: Brainstorming and Drawing Your Opinion, Writing an Opinion Opening Sentence, Writing a Reason and Example, Writing a Closing Sentence
- Complete an opinion paragraph in which you explain which of the following is the best accidental invention: popsicles, chocolate chip cookies, slinkies, or play-doh. Send a picture π· to your teacher.

- read and spell words with final stable syllables
- identify whether information from a nonfiction text was learned from the words or the pictures
- write an opinion paragraph with an opening sentence, a reason, an example, and a closing sentence
What You Can Do At Home π‘
- Review Letter Names and Sound: Ask your student to draw pictures of objects that use the skills for this week. Look below β¬ for examples!
- Read Nonfiction Texts: This week, we're learning more about nonfiction texts. Read nonfiction texts and distinguish between information learned from the words and information learned from the pictures!

This week, in Math, students are learning to...
- compose and decompose 2-digit numbers into tens and ones
- compare 2-digit numbers using >, <, or =
What You Can Do At Home π‘
- Practice Decomposing Numbers: Use the YouTube videos βΆ below and click the link to practice decomposing 2-digit numbers!
- Compare 2-Digit Numbers: Use straws to represent tens and Cheerios to represent ones. Build 2-digit numbers, and compare them using >, <, or =.

This week in Social Studies, students are learning to:
