First Grade 2015-2016
Note From the Teacher
This was a productive week in 1st grade! This week, in Reading, we reviewed describing characters, settings, and major events in a story, using key details. In Writing, we prepared for our Writing Benchmark. In Math, we continued working on geometry. In Science, we continued learning about weather.

Classroom Needs
We are in need of Disinfectant Wipes. Our classroom is completely out. :-(
Elementary Summer School
The elementary summer school program, SLAM 2016 (Summer Learning And More) is going to center around "leadership in action." Current assistant principal at Schofield Elementary, Markie Bravestone will be the ElementarySummer School Principal, and Mrs. Kelly Hobbs (3rd grade teacher at Schofield) will serve as Lead Teacher to assist Mrs. Bravestone. We are looking forward to a summer full of leadership development and learning from leaders in our community!
As in past years, both breakfast and lunch will be provided for ALL students FREE of charge! Be sure to arrive in plenty of time to eat. Our doors will open at 8:10 a.m. each morning.
