All three 4/5 classes are participating in supporting a healthy ocean and local watershed. Through grant funding from NOAA and Friends of the Petaluma River our students are making a difference today, and for tomorrow.
In addition, all K-5 classes will be participating in the Good Neighbor Project, an ongoing litter-reduction effort to build collaborative relationships with the residents that border our wonderful campus. Want to volunteer? See details below.
The Good Neighbor Project will be kicking off during the two school weeks between Monday, January 28 and Friday, February 8. During your students' K-5 garden rotation times, the students, teachers, garden coordinator, and parent volunteers will collect litter that has accumulated on campus, concentrating on the fence line with our adjacent neighbors. Please come volunteers during your student's garden rotations.

CALLING ALL MCCV FAMILIES
Do you own a business in Petaluma or know someone who does? Do you, or someone you know, have a special talent like cooking, candle making or floral arrangements? Do you own a vacation home, or want to host a casino night? There are so many options out there and now’s the time to think outside the box!! This year’s Cherry Jubilee will take place, Saturday, March 9th at Hermann Sons Hall near downtown Petaluma. We have a spectacular party planned— delicious food, festive music, and old-timey circus merriment— and we need your help to secure great donations for our Silent Auction and Raffle. The Cherry Jubilee is the PTA’s biggest fundraiser of the year and we need all hands on deck to make it a success.
Please email Meg Huff at mccvjubilee@gmail.com if you have something to contribute, ideas, or want to help!
