Annual registration for Volunteering
Each year, parents must register to volunteer to participate in any school activities with our students (field trip chaperone, field day volunteer, PTA activities that allow you to interface with students, etc.) Though it requires your active participation, it does help us make sure that anyone having access to our students is cleared for safety. The window opened up on July 1 and we ask that you complete your registration by October 31, when the system resets. If you haven't registered by Oct. 31 for the 2019-20 school year, you will not be able to volunteer. You may register at any school in Wake County, just make sure you mark Willow Springs as an option. You will need your driver's license number. It only takes a few moments, and you may sign up in our Media Center any day from 8:00-4:00
Tracks 1 and 3: Picture Day
Smiles all around on Thursday, July 25 for fall pictures. Forms were sent home so you may select your background, if you you choose. You will need to send in picture form by Thursday if you want to make a choice. (Tracks 2 &4, your day is August 6)
School Lunches
Like everything else, school lunch prices have gone up this year to $2.75. Please make sure that you have increased any spending limits on your child's account, if you set them last year. Remember you can access your child's school lunch account www.myschoolbucks.com

Get Connected
Our PTA works very hard so that every child will have access to cool programs, activities, field trips, and more.. Your participation can help us make decisions about what to offer and how to improve. Our first general meeting is Thursday, August 1st at 6pm and we'd really love you to come. It usually lasts less than an hour and can connect you to great WSES moms and dads! At the meeting we will have:
- Kona Ice
- Mason Jar gift card to raffle off
- Committee info
- Introduction of leadership
- Budget vote
- Green star volunteer stations set up
- Easy sign up for Membership
