Valentine's Day
Valentine’s Parties will start at 2:30 p.m.
Any student who needs Valentine’s cards or a box see Mrs. Roberts!
Check with your teacher on how many cards you need and what kind of boxes!
Cards can be bought or homemade!

Recess/Weather
The temperature is sure to fluctuate over the next few weeks and we would like to keep our students nice and warm! Please send a coat, jacket, hats and gloves when needed. The temperature has to be 60 degrees for students to be coat/jacket free!
Illness
If your child is sick they cannot return until they are temperature free for 24 hours without medication.
Field Trips
On February 6 the 2nd and 3rd grade classes attended a field trip to the Orpheum Theatre to see Havana Pop!

Student Council
This year student council has sponsored a canned food drive, crazy hair day and the upcoming Swap Day!
Swap Day is when the students dress like the teachers and teachers dress like the students. This will take place on Friday, February 23!
We can’t wait to see what they will do next!
The next Student Council meeting is Tuesday, March 12, 2024.
WHAT'S HAPPENING!
Kindergarten
Ms. Marshall’s classroom is exploring the seasons of Winter and hibernation. We made a cave in our Ms. Marshall’s classroom is exploring the seasons of Winter and hibernation. We made a cave in our classroom and brought bears to school for them to hibernate. We have been reading books about Winter and winter animals. We also have been talking about how to dress in the winter and how to keep our bodies healthy and safe. The students have really enjoyed the activities. We also take our bears out of hibernation to read stories with us weekly.
