Mustangs in the Spotlight WEEK of 3/25
6th Grade Student of the Week
David Reyes showcases what it means to have the HEART of a Mustang daily. He is a great young man that is selfless and builds positive and productive relationships with others. David is a values driven leader that is kind, honest and joyful. Thank you David for taking time each day to model kindness and helping others!
7th Grade Student of the Week
Mason Carrabine consistently models being a leader by showing others what it means to pursue a “we not me” mentality in all that he does. Mason is adaptable and empathetic and is always committed to being kind, grateful and selfless. Mason is selfless in his actions and models daily to all Mustangs what integrity and loyalty look like.
8th Grade Student of the Week
Yolanda Mendoza strives to do her best in everything that she does. She is a leader who is kind and joyful that works hard to reach her goals and inspire others to do the same. Yolanda is a great leader in the classroom. Yolanda shows others how to have the HEART of a Mustang by the way that she shows determination and leadership in the classroom and hallways.

The Hilde Pony Express
Mrs. Clark nominated Mr. Funderburk for our #HildePonyExpress! Mr. Funderburk insists on high expectations and cares for the whole learner and he rigorously analyzes data to ensure student progress. He is a forever learner as he is not afraid to ask for help, and he always seeks opportunities to continuously improve and grow. He is always the most optimistic and hopeful person in the room. He is always grateful, kind, joyful, honest and selfless. He is amazing at embracing challenges and failing forward and he exhibits curiosity, humility, perseverance and resilience. He makes other better teachers just by watching how he interacts with the students and staff here at Hildebrandt.
Each week the #HildePonyExpress will be passed on to other teachers and staff! Check out our twitter to see more.
