Interesting And Unusual Facts About Black Bears

1 Black bear cubs wegh about one half to one pound.

2 Black bears can run over 30 miles per hour.

3 Northern black bears of Wisconsin look for food at dumps.

4 The female bear wakes up in January to give birth to two cubs.

5 The black bear's nose is also helpful in smelling. They are better at smelling than humans.
