PS 8 Library Catalog

Students from second grade and up learn to independently search the catalog for books in the library's collection and locate them using Dewey Decimal call numbers. Search for books by author, title, subject, or series. Browse specific Fountas and Pinnell reading levels and customized resource lists for PS 8's curriculum.

MyLibraryNYC is a partnership between the NYCDOE and the NYC's three public library systems--Brooklyn Public Library, New York Public Library, and Queens Library. Educators and students at PS 8 have an enhanced fine-free library card the provides more borrowing access to books, ebooks, DVDs, and databases with increased item borrowing limits.

Educator cards can be used to borrow eBooks, access databases, and to request Teacher Sets to enhance specific units of study.
