Penn Pride: We have. We are. Together.
Together ....
I know the district is working on a lot of details right now, and I'll share those as soon as we know them. For now though ....
Our goal is to come along side and support your family. This week the district shared more resources (in an email from Kristin Pedersen on 4/15 titled Elementary Update). This email included a sample schedule and some fun Reading Challenges.
- Daily Schedule - If you are interested in utilizing a daily schedule with your K-6 student, please consider this suggestion.
- Preschool Daily Schedule - If you are interested in utilizing a daily schedule with your preschool student, please consider this suggestion.
- Reading Challenge - Our teacher librarians have created a fun reading challenge for our students.
We are continuing our focus on students using Lexia and Dreambox. Some students will have used these programs at school, but many have not. You can reassure your child that we are now encouraging ALL kids to work in these programs because these programs provide for a systematic continuity of instruction. Each program is adaptive, so it provides work for your child at their instructional level. Let your child's teacher know if you need help with these programs.
