From the Principal
Parent conferences are scheduled to occur on Thursday, October 22. Teachers will be contacting parents to schedule conferences this week with the intention of getting conferences set before school closes for our two-week fall break. First quarter grades and NWEA results will be the focus of this year's conferences.
The Indiana State Department of Health Immunization Program strives to prevent disease, disability and death in children, adolescents and adults through vaccination. Indiana law requires that students be current on vaccinations in order to attend school. Students who are not current on vaccinations should not return to school after fall break on Monday, October 19, without at least documentation of a scheduled appointment to get vaccinated. The RP Clinic will be sending home letters to affected families this week. Please call the RP nurse, Lisa Stewart, at 317.532.8902 ext. 8912, with questions.
The MSD Warren Township Police Department will be enforcing the district's bag policy at IMS athletic events. Please review the memo below for details of what is allowed at afterschool events.
With one week remaining before fall break, I want to be sure to thank the RP community for its patience as RP continues to improve our different instructional delivery models. I want to thank the students for their adherence to our safety protocols as provided by Warren Township's S.A.F.E. Reopening Plan. Finally, I want to thank the RP staff for their commitment to our students and community. I have told many - we are learning much everyday about how to teach through a pandemic, and the next time we have a pandemic, we're going to nail it!
Be safe!
Proud to be a Ranger,
John Kleine

The dates for the virtual fair are September 21-October 2. It is exciting because with a virtual fair Scholastic is able to offer more items than with a physical fair.
It does take parent involvement as it will require a debit/credit card, but items that are ordered will be delivered directly to homes. Thank you for your support!
School Pictures
School pictures for all in-person learners, grades 5-8 have been taken. There is a make-up date scheduled for in-person learners on Thursday, October 29. Virtual learners will have an opportunity for school pictures later this fall through the Moorhead Community and Resource Center. Picture orders should be made through the Inter-State Studio Picture Order Form.
