FEBRUARY 2020
PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Dear Summit Families,
February is a busy month at Summit and it is also American Heart Month.
There are several things happening this month so please make sure you scroll to the bottom of the newsletter to get all the information.
Friday, February 7, 2020 is National Wear Red Day in honor of Heart month. Staff and students are encouraged to Wear Red in support of Heart Health. We will have our annual Heart Fest during the school day for our students on February 13, 2020 and be sure to sign up to help/volunteer for this huge event. Return that evening for our PTO sponsored school dance for students to bring a special adult in their lives to dance, enjoy crafts and have fun on February 13th from 6-8 pm.
Near the end of the month, join us for our Family Literacy Night scheduled on Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 5:30 pm-7 pm. Bring the family out to enjoy some literacy fun.
There are many more things occurring and upcoming at Summit so please be sure to continue reading for more.
Sincerely,
Latasha Turner
