Still trying to decide which college to attend?
Check out the improved Texas Advance Commitment from the University of Texas in Austin. Students who are first year or transfer students in the fall of 2020 will be eligible for additional need-based funding to offset the cost of tuition. Those whose families have an adjusted gross income of up to $65,000 will have the tuition completely covered. There is additional funding for families with adjusted gross incomes up to $125,000. The ASVAB
The ASVAB is a useful tool for everyone! If you are unsure what you would like to do after high school, the ASVAB can help you narrow down your choices. Want to know how you can use your own skills to further you in your future career? The ASVAB can help you!
We will give the ASVAB test on campus on February 5; make sure you sign up outside Mrs. Sowell's office.

- Ask at least three teachers for recommendation letters at no later than two weeks prior to the scholarship or college deadline. Make sure to give them a copy of your completed and polished resume.
- Submit college applications
- Send test scores and transcripts to colleges Check out the transcript request form below.
- Double check to ensure your FAFSA is completed You should receive an email from them a few days after completion. If you do not receive the email, log back in to your account to ensure there are no errors.
- Keep your eye out for emails from your colleges and complete any requests for documents
