1. Pumpkin Palooza!
Check out these fall-themed math and science activities!
2. PowToon Free Classroom Accounts
PowToon is designed to allow education professionals (and students) to create content that is visually engaging, captivating and fun to make. PowToon is a user friendly and intuitive presentation software that allows someone with no technical or design skills to create engaging, professional looking, animated presentations. I have shared this resource with you before but am bringing it back today because PowToon is currently offering FREE Classroom Accounts. A classroom account will allow you to manage up to 60 students. Check out their tutorial page to learn more about using PowToon.
3. The Literacy Shed
The Literacy Shed is home to a wealth of visual resources. The aim is to provide high quality resources that can be used in stand alone literacy lessons, form the basis for a whole Literacy unit or can support literacy units that you already have in place. Teachers should watch the films and only use those that they deem appropriate for the students in their care. Teaching ideas accompany each film clip. You may also want to explore The Mathematics Shed.
