Administrative Assistant Job Summary
The Greater Ozarks Cooperating School Districts (GOCSD) is seeking an organized and proactive administrative assistant to join our organization. You will work directly with our Executive Director and Professional Learning Coordinator to ensure all administrative tasks are efficiently and effectively implemented. Must have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks at once, and a wide breadth of experience managing clerical responsibilities.
Part-time: 20 hours per week, $15 per hour

Administrative Assistant Job Responsibilities and Duties
· Welcome and greet clients and office guests
· Support GOCSD Executive Director and Professional Learning Coordinator, including running out-of-office errands
· Manage communication of information in and out of the office
· Preparing electronic invoices, correspondence letters, emails, memos, etc.
· Assist in preparation of presentation materials
· Monitor and maintain office equipment
· Maintain positive and professional staff and client relationships
· Perform general filing responsibilities utilizing Google docs
· Extensive knowledge and use of Microsoft Suite and other administrative programs
· Extensive knowledge and use of WordPress for updating GOCSD website
- Adding new events/removing past events
- Adding new school district university members, affiliate partners (and linking education department), affiliates (and link to website)
- Adding/linking vendor logo and contact person for vendor partner service contract
· Knowledge and use of Smore, Sign-Up Genius, or related programs to draft flyers and registration forms for GOCSD events
- Send flyers approved by GOCSD Professional Learning Coordinator to GOCSD membership
- Track the number of registrations for events
- Send confirmation information to event registrants
- Sends follow up reflections to event attendees
- Reserve GOCSD event space for the Lindenwood Campus
- Other duties as assigned
Administrative Assistant Requirements and Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED equivalent required
· 2+ years experience as an administrative assistant or comparable experience
· Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) certification preferred
· Fast, proficient, and accurate typist
· Outstanding communicator, both orally and written
· Excellent customer service skills
· Self-starter who works well independently
· Ability to prioritize given tasks and work efficiently towards completing them
· Familiar with common office equipment (printers, copier, fax, etc.)
· Detail-oriented and exceptional organization skills
· Strong problem solver and analytical thinker
· Professional demeanor
· Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite and other administrative programs
· Extensive knowledge of WordPress for updating GOCSD website
· Knowledge of SMORE, Sign-Up Genius, and other registration tools
