Events this month
- A Community Reading Event, Bluebonnet Book Bowl, at Frank Seale Middle School.
- Kindergarten PEAK time--Clifford the Big Red Dog, visited website and shared stories about Clifford and his author, Bridwell, and a hand jive
- Collaborated with 5th grade for upcoming author study in April
- Hosted a computer club (2nd group) for grades 4 & 5
- First Grade students enjoyed learning about doubles in the book Minnie's Diner
- Kindergarten students used TuxPaint in the library lab to draw and label parts of a flower, then printed
- VHS tapes were weeded from the library, along with other unused materials.
- Shared a Texas 2 X 2 with students in grades PreK-2, Good News Bad News. We shared point of view and personal experiences.
- Students learned new songs, "Little Cabin in the Woods," "Donut Shop," "Poor Little Bug on the Wall," along with finger plays/motions
- 2-day author study and read-a-loud with 3rd grade class on Roald Dahl. Esio Trot.
