Seniors--October 2020

Class of 2021,

We hope your senior year is off to a good start! Please be sure to check out each of the items below. There is a lot of information, but we want to make sure you are prepared for upcoming events.

Remember that the window to opt out of having your class rank posted to your transcript closes on September 30. We are unable to make changes after that date. The online form is available using the parent login for Skyward Family Access.

Counseling Page of the FMHS Website

Be sure to check out the counseling page of the FMHS website. This is where you can view the senior powerpoint that was sent out several weeks ago. You can also find the link to request official transcripts and access the counselor recommendation packet. Remember that you only need a letter from us if the college requires a counselor letter of recommendation. Be sure to check your application. A letter may not be required.

The University of North Texas will host a Financial Aid Frenzy event on October 1. There will be mentors and financial aid representatives available from 12:00PM - 9:00PM. There will be a pre-recorded video playing every hour in the afternoon and every 30 minutes in the evening. This will provide an overview of how to complete the FAFSA or TASFA. Students and parents will be able to ask questions in the chatroom. While this is a UNT program, they will not be marketing to students who have not expressed an interest in UNT.
