Tragedy
Adam
Tragedy
It was snowing
The day
She left us.
In a blizzard
Of pain
She went.
She was a ray
Of sunshine
In the bleak
Cloudy world.
A source of comfort
For everyone.
She refused
To believe that.
She hurt herself,
Bleeding bitter tears
And ice cold ideas
Of herself.
She found solace
In this self-inflicted
Self-indulgent
Pain.
A broken snowflake,
Perfect to all but herself.
She went too far.
The gun was
Cold.
She made her decision.
The time had come.
Nothing mattered
To her.
She mattered
To me.
The ground was frozen.
The pain was burning.
The grave funeral.
The snowstorm had come.
Hypothermic,
Feverish,
She left me.
I was blind.
