Summer construction projects in D15 schools
Every summer, the Board of Education allocates funds to facility needs. This summer, $5.7 million will be used to improve many of our schools throughout District 15.
Walter R. Sundling: Partial roof replacement
Lincoln School: Univent replacement, replacement of stage drapes
Central Road: Roof replacement, HVAC upgrades, carpet replacement, replacement of stage drapes
Virginia Lake: Classroom carpeting replacement & controlled access installation (modification to main entrance)
Jane Addams: Playground equipment replacement, replacement of stage drapes
Marion Jordan: Playground equipment replacement, replacement of stage drapes
Conyers Learning Academy: Playground equipment replacement, replacement of stage drapes
Frank C. Whiteley: Outside paving, replacement of stage drapes
Carl Sandburg: Controlled front access installation
Hunting Ridge: Controlled access installation
Kimball Hill: Controlled access installation, replacement of stage drapes
Plum Grove: Controlled access installation and sanitary sewer replacement
Winston Campus: Replacement of stage drapes
Stuart R. Paddock: Replacement of stage drapes
Thomas Jefferson: Replacement of stage drapes
Any summer building closures will be communicated with staff before the end of the school year.

Digital medical insurance cards available from BCBS
Those who participate in the district's Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance program can review claims and other benefit details by logging into Blue Access for Members (BAM).
BAM provides you with immediate and secure access to your claims activity and benefit details. You can also find network doctors and hospitals, use the Cost Estimator tool, request new ID cards and explore wellness information.
One of the latest features is Blue Access Mobile which allows you to access BAM through your mobile device. With this, you can download the Provider Finder app, get text notifications about claims, and view wellness tips. If would you like BCBS to send you a link to download its app to your mobile phone, just text "BCBSILAPP" to 33633.
You can also find a doctor, hospital or urgent care facility from your mobile phone. BCBS can text you the link to its mobile website. Just text "ILDOC" to 33633.
You can download or order an ID card right from your mobile phone. The mobile app now has the functionality to save the ID Card to your Passbook on you iOS device or Google Wallet on your Android device. BCBS can text you the link to its mobile website. Just text "ILID" to 33633.
