Animals in the tundraPolar Bear CaribouArtic Fox Artic HareSnowy OwlMusk OxRock PtarmiganThere are several threats to the population.Mining and Oil drilling are increasing habitat lose as well as human habitation moving farther north.Animals that live in the tundra have special adaptaions that are needed to survive.

Plant head

Arctic Willow- its a shrub that is low to the ground and avoids the cold winds.

CottonGrass- gets its name from the puffy ball at the end of them.

Moss- this plant grows alot due to the weather and grows on rocks this is also used for small mammals and birds as there nest.

These three plants are the most common plants to grow in the tundra due to the fact they have adapted to the climate

I know the tundra isn't the best place to vist but the experience you get for the place you go.

Some of the places that contain tundra biome is Alaska and Minnesota

Tundra temperatures average minus 30 C.Temperatures on the east coast of the peninsula tend to be colder, ranging between minus 13 F to 23 F.Generally daytime temperatures during the summer rise to about 12 °C (54 °F) but can often drop to 3 °C (37 °F) or even below freezing.snow level is 6-10 inches  Rainfall and snowfall are generally slight due to the low vapor pressure of water in the chilly atmosphere
