Kindergarten Graduation
To All Parents of Kindergarten Children:
Wednesday, June 26th is Kindergarten Graduation! This has been a tradition dating back for generations and many of our parents and grandparents participated when they were kindergartners! This event is always incredibly well-attended and for it to run smoothly requires everyone to follow some basic safety procedures, be supportive of each other, and be patient. For this event:
- Enter through the Route 226 entrance doors and go to the gym. Although the ceremony starts at 9:00am, parents are welcome to sit in the gymnasium and wait until the start of the program.
- For safety reasons, please do not go to any other part of the building other than the main office or gymnasium until after the ceremony has concluded and parents are dismissed to the kindergarten classrooms to sign their children out if they choose to do so.
- Children in grades 1-6 will be having their last day of classes with their teacher. This is a meaningful time for them. If you have a child in those grades and would like to sign them out after the kindergarten ceremony, or would like them to attend the ceremony, please go to the Main Office and have Mrs. Smith or Mrs. Becker call them down. Please do not go to their classrooms.
We will have a general map of the seating of the children hung on the gymnasium door as this is always a question that parents ask. We can’t wait to celebrate this amazing accomplishment with you!
