This month is Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month. We will be talking about suicide prevention and awareness, as well as mental health, throughout September.

According to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death for ages 10-24 in the state of Georgia. It is also one of the leading causes of PREVENTABLE death.

FOUR out of FIVE teens who attempt suicide have given clear warning signs. That means that in 80% of these cases, we have an opportunity to intervene and possibly save a young person who is at-risk.

During this month, our school will be drawing attention to the problem of suicide and advocating the prevention of this tragedy. We encourage our students, staff, and the community to participate in Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month. We will be sharing resources and activities throughout September to bring awareness to suicide prevention.

If you know someone who is struggling with suicidal thoughts, be a good friend and help them ask for help from a trusted adult. Here at school, we have school counselors, a social worker and psychologist who are available to provide help. Thank you for supporting this initiative!

Our counselors are a great resource.

6th Grade Counselor - Denise Santos

7th Grade Counselor - Emily D'Antoni

8th Grade Counselor - Andrea Turner

Students are not allowed to have outside food services (i.e., Door Dash, Uber, etc.) delivered to the school.

Extended Learning

Autrey Mill will begin their Extended Learning Program on October 3rd from 4:20 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday.

Families of students who were invited to the program received invitation letters via email.

If you have questions please contact Dr. Lily Jenkins

Students are not allowed to ride on other students buses or get off at different stops.

This is to ensure the safety of your student.

If you completed the Volunteer Registration before June 2022, you are REQUIRED to complete an application again using the link below. The good news is that this will cover multiple schools, so you only have to fill out the form once and make sure you cover all of the schools you have children attending.

This may be an inconvenience, but it's necessary to ensure the safety of all our students and is required by Safety & Security for Fulton County Schools. It is MANDATORY before you are permitted to volunteer in the building or in a capacity where students will be present.

Luckily the process takes less than 5 minutes! And will be active for two (2) years.

Please click the link below to complete the process immediately.

Lastly, when signing into the Raptor system at school, volunteers must click the VOLUNTEER option, only, NOT visitor.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
