Reminders

- Teacher Appreciation Week starts on May 3rd! PTO would like for you to consider purchasing an ad on our website to shout out an ELITE WMS educator! Ads can be purchased on the PTO website.

- Mon., April 26: Boys Soccer vs CMS at KHS

- Thurs., April 29: Girls Soccer vs CMS at SCHS

- Thurs., April 29: Late Arrival day, school starts at 10:10 am. A reminder that breakfast is not served on late arrival days.

- Sat., May 1: Theatre UIL One-Act Play at 10 am; good luck to our lions!

- Fri., May 21: Save the date! May 21 is the 8th Grade Dance! On-campus and virtual 8th grade students will be able to attend.

Course Requests

Course requests for next year are now available for viewing on HAC. Please review your student’s selections with them.

If your student should have any of the below courses on their course selection, there is no need to send a request for a change. There are some changes that will be made automatically in early May when the second verification is sent out those changes include:

Reading Strategies (all grades) (Full year)
Math Strategies (all grades) (Full year)
Dyslexia (all grades) (Full year)
ESL (all grades) (Full year)
Social Skills (all grades) (Full year)

If there are other changes you would like to make, please use the link below to communicate with your counselor.

Please keep in mind: If you would like to remove a class that has an A and B (full year classes), please replace it with another class that is full year or two classes that are single semester.

Remember:
*All selections at this time are requests ONLY.
*There will be 1 other chance for verification.
*Finalized schedules will be available for review late in the summer.

Learning Location Changes

Friendly Reminder: The cut off for Learning Location changes was April 1st. In order to provide staff and students consistency and help with end of the year grade processing and testing, we are no longer approving learning location switches.

2021 - 2022 School Supply Lists

School supply list information has been added to our website. You can view supply lists by grade level or make things a little easier for next year by placing an EPI supply pack order. Place your EPI order by June 1st!

Yearbook for 2021 School Year

If you are interested in buying a yearbook for 2021, they must be purchased by midnight on April 30, 2021. The store at www.balfour.com will close on May 1! We only have 300 left for the entire campus and once we sell out, we cannot order more.

Early Parent Pick-Up

If you are planning to pick-up your child early, you must do so BEFORE 3:15 p.m. You must have an administrator's approval if you are in need of picking up you child after the 3:15 p.m. cut off period.

Student IDs

Please remind your student to wear their ID daily. We have many students arriving without an ID and need a temporary ID each day. Please use the QR code below to purchase a new ID for your student if needed.

Morning Wandering, Tardy Consequences, & Cell Phone Consequences

In efforts to curb student wandering in the morning we will move to a systematic consequence approach. We will follow the below consequences for students seen wandering the mornings:


  1. Warning

  2. Assigned Lunch D-Hall

  3. Assigned After School D-Hall

  4. Assigned After Extended School D-Hall

  5. Assigned After Extended School D-Hall & other consequences may be assigned by grade level administrator



Below are the consequences that will be assigned for tardies.

Below are the consequences assigned for cell phones.



  1. Returned to student at the end of the day

  2. Returned to the parent at the end of the day

  3. Returned to parent at the end of the day, ISS assigned to student

  4. Checked-in daily for the entire day until the end of the semester

Deliveries

Due to COVID-19 restrictions we are not allowing deliveries on campus.

No Microwaves

In order to keep our students safe and adhere to the COVID-19 requirements, microwaves will NOT be available during lunches.

Dress Code

  • Shorts and skirts must be longer than finger tips when standing straight up

  • Spandex and leggings must be covered by a long shirt or jacket over backside

  • No Crop tops

  • No Spaghetti Straps

  • No Sagging

  • Earrings are permitted on boys and girls (Ears only, No other piercings allowed)
