Students in Mrs. Tomasz’s class had a “Pizza Party '' during their writing block this week. Bresnahan 2nd graders are learning about transition words (first, next, then, finally) by making pizza from play-doh and explaining the steps using transition words. Then, they write about it! So fun!

We are excited to offer our Clipper Courses After-School Program for the second year!

Based on the overwhelming amount of interest we had last year, we are moving to a lottery based registration to ensure equity among our students. We cannot guarantee that every child will be placed in a course each session. We will wait until the registration window has closed before entering student’s names in the lottery. This system is subject to change as we continue to work through this new(er) offering! Your patience and flexibility are greatly appreciated.

These courses will begin the week of October 2nd and end the week of November 13th.

The registration window is from September 18th (12pm) to September 22nd (12pm). You will receive a confirmation email by Friday 9/29.

Please pay attention to the course descriptions as some courses are only being offered to certain grade levels.

The Bresnahan Green Team is seeking parent volunteers to help support our Green School Initiatives this year in the cafeteria. This year students will be using washable trays and metal silverware instead of single-use silverware packets. They will also be composting their food scraps and emptying liquids from single-use drink containers. Our students will need teaching and hands-on help as they learn these new routines. We are hoping to find volunteers who are able to consistently commit to volunteering each week. Thank you for your support! Click HERE to sign up!

Just a reminder to complete the PTO's Volunteer Interest Survey. This will put you on the mailing list for specific Bresnahan, Molin and Nock events. By expressing interest, you are not making a commitment, just getting access to more information!

Classroom Liaison

Would you like to be a classroom liaison for your child’s classroom? As a classroom liaison, you will assist your child’s teacher in organizing class events, recruiting parent or caregiver volunteers, and meeting any classroom needs. You may also be asked to communicate with parents and caregivers about PTO events and any potential classroom gifts. If interested, please contact your child’s classroom teacher.

Fall Festival

Save the date! The PTO will be hosting a family Fall Festival on the morning of Sunday October 22. There will be games, food, a singalong with Mr. RM, and a sensory-sensitive early opening. All Bresnahan families are welcome. More details to come!!
