2023 Important Field Day Information
It is time again for one of the students’ favorite events of the year - Field Day! This is a special day for the students to get outside and run around for half of the day. Field Day this year is spread across 2 mornings from 8:30am-11:45am.
- Grades 3-5 will participate on Tuesday May 23rd
- Grades 4K-2 will participate on Wednesday May 24th.
Thanks so much for being such supportive parents for Irmo Elementary School and making this a great day for all the kids!

Lost and Found Reminder

VERY IMPORTANT: Please have your bee arrive to school ON TIME with a CHARGED DEVICE in grades 3-5 on testing dates!
SC READY and SC PASS Testing Schedule:
May 16 Math-grades 3,4,5 (No outside visitors on these dates, including lunch/volunteers to maintain a testing environment that is best for our bees)
May 17 Science-4th only (No outside visitors on these dates, including lunch/volunteers to maintain a testing environment that is best for our bees)

State Testing and Devices: What do you need to know?
In addition, as a reminder of state testing policy, students may not be in possession of any electronic or other device that can be used for communicating, recording, timing, creating images, or storing images.
These devices include, but are not limited to:
cell phones
smart watches
media players
electronic readers
headphones
stop watches
electronic translators
handheld devices
electronic imaging/photographic devices.
To help with this, we recommend that such devices be left at home on testing days. To ensure we are providing an optimum testing environment and following the regulations, IES students will be directed to secure all such devices in their book bags which will be placed away from students.
