NO TEACHER LEFT BEHINED ACT
How would you suggest we, as a nation, provide consistent learning opportunities for teachers and ensure that they are not left behind in learning new techniques and strategies?
I feel that teachers should always maintain some kind of training workshop to stay up on updated information. As a teacher there's always room for self-improvement. Teachers simply can have more workshops assessable to them on a frequent bases. Having more trainings and staff development days, this way teachers are able to share their ideas with other teachers, whom may simply be having a problem in that same area
Should all teachers across the country use certain practices?
Well the guidelines that we should follow are those of the NETST standards these should be followed across the county and should be a requirement.
If so what would those be?
I feel that teachers should meet the standards that are qualified
Should there be a consistent standard for all teachers to meet, just as students must pass high stake test?
Yes I consider their are already a few test in place that you must pass to become a teacher. If you don't pass these test one is content the other the PPR two test that are a requirement to pass to become a certified teacher
How well are teachers being prepared to master the NETS-S standards in the classroom.
I believe that teaches need more workshops on how to apply the standards into their classroom. I think many teachers are aware of the standards but are unsure on how to apply hem within their classroom. I also believe that its not mandatory for teachers to stay up to date on their standards and how to apply to the classroom.
