What is it?
Physicians who provide medical care related to pregnancy or childbirth and those who diagnose, treat, and help prevent diseases of women, particularly those affecting the reproductive system. May also provide general medical care to women.
Why do you want to do this?
I have always wanted to be a doctor. I love learning about the human body. I want to go into Obstetrics/Gynecology because I want to help women. I want to teach girls to love their bodies and embrace it and also promote sexual awareness.
Also, I love babies. I want to deliver babies.
Most medical schools require the following courses:
- One year of Biology with lab.
- One year of General Chemistry with lab.
- One year of Organic Chemistry with lab.
- One year of Physics with lab.
- One year of English.
