The MOTSD remains committed to providing our families with the option to have their child learn remotely for the duration of the 2020-21 school year.
If your child is attending school in-person, but you'd like to switch him/her to remote learning, remember that you may do so at any time by emailing your child's principal, who in turn will make the appropriate arrangements.
All transportation pickup and drop off times will be available in Realtime on Friday, January 8, 2021. Bus passes will no longer be mailed home. If you are unable to locate your child’s pickup and drop off time in Realtime, please contact the transportation department at 973-691-4005.
Cohort C Request to Return in Person
2021 is off to a great start!
Message from the Principal
Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing break. Our children are back to working hard in their virtual classrooms. The teachers have created engaging lessons to keep them moving forward while they are learning from home. Thank you for your continued support and assistance in making remote learning a positive experience.
Our Special Programs return to school next week, 1/11. Beginning 1/19 Cohort A returns to school followed by Cohort B on 1/25. Any Cohort C student can return to in person learning on 2/1. Please complete the form above form and your child will be added to cohort A or B.
I hope your New Year is off to a great start! Have a nice weekend.

Apply for Free/Reduced Lunch
Per N.J.A.C. 2:36-1.5(d), "Students are eligible for school meal benefits or free milk for
the school year and up to 30 operating days in the subsequent school year". As of
October 21 2020, all students who previously qualified for free and reduced lunch in the
2019-2020 school year that have not submitted a lunch application for the 2020-2021
school year, have been reset to "paid" status. Although this has no immediate
impact on any student because of the “free lunch for all”, when/if the” free lunch
for all” status is lifted, students will be required to pay for their meals (breakfast
and lunch) until an application has been received and processed.
To avoid an interruption in benefits please proceed to the Realtime Parent Portal to
either fill out an application otherwise, please indicate that you do not wish to apply at
this time. Please note that only ONE (1) application per FAMILY, is required to
determine qualification status. status.
