Returning Student Registration Forms
Please remember to fill out the Returning Student Registration Forms if you have not already done so! In addition to updating contact and health information, this is where you give permission for your child to attend field trips and have their picture displayed for school purposes (yearbook, newsletters, etc).
In the next few days, you will receive an emailed Adobe form packet from Lago Vista ISD Registration. Please complete all forms in their entirety. If you have multiple students enrolled in Lago Vista ISD, you will receive registration forms for each student.
PLEASE NOTE: Adobe will auto-generate a daily reminder email until the form packet is submitted. Forms will expire 7 days after sending.
For questions related to student registration and enrollment or if you do not receive a returning student form packet by Monday, please contact the campus of enrollment at (512) 267-8300.

Mrs. Chelsey Jimenez - Second Grade
1. Where are you from originally?
I was born and raised in Abilene, TX where I also attended college at McMurry University.
After college I moved to San Angelo for my first teaching job. After my first year of teaching we followed my husband's dream job to Lago Vista, where we have been for 3 years.
2. How long have you been teaching?
This is my 5th year of teaching and my 3rd year at Lago Vista Elementary, I have taught 2nd grade and Kindergarten. :)
3. Tell us about your family...
I have been married for almost 3 years to my amazing husband, Marco. He is a physical therapist at LVPT and loves what he does. We have two adorable fur babies, Remi our 2 year old bloodhound and Ruger our 3 year old Manchester Terrier.
4. What do you like to do for fun and do you like legos?
In my spare time I love fixing up our house, camping, finding new adventures, playing sports, baking, and spending time with my family. Of course I love legos, I mean who doesn't right?:)
5. What is your favorite part about your job?
My favorite part about teaching is waking up every day and loving what I do. I get to teach kids every day and help create a part of who they are going to be when they get older. In my opinion there is no better feeling then having these little humans love you and look up to you like they do.
Alida Lash - PE Paraprofessional
1. How long have you worked in Lago Vista?
6 years full time, but I subbed for our district for 7 years before that, and before that I volunteered teaching English as a second language to ESL parents for three years in what is now our PLC room. It seems I have been walking the Elementary halls for a life time.
2. Where are you from originally?
Guatemala, which is a country in Central America.
3. Tell us about your family...
Married for 23 years to my husband Doug, who I met skydiving. We have two kids. Our son and daughter are Lago Vista born and raised. Nick is in the Air Force and Monica is an Aggie.
4. What are your favorite hobbies?
Traveling and planning trips either for me or anyone who wants me to help them plan a trip, reading, going to the lake, exercising and recently started yoga.
5. What is your favorite part of your job?
I love everything about my job, but seeing the kiddos in the morning when they get out of their cars with their happy faces is awesome.

Counselor's Corner
Hello LVES Families! I have enjoyed learning about the different responsibilities our students have as we have been talking about the character trait of Responsibility. It is important for children to understand that showing responsibility at home, school, and with friends also shows that they are trustworthy and dependable. What kinds of opportunities have you given your child to help them learn about and show responsibility?
I also want to make sure all of our families are aware of the Old Farm Community Center Food Pantry. This local resource is stocked with lots of wonderful free food for anyone in the community. Some items include fresh fruits, vegetables, frozen meats, beverages, baked goods, and even dog food. They are open on Saturday at noon and are located at 3500 Lohman Ford Road in Lago Vista. Help spread the word to families who may need to know!
