Principal's Point
Challenges are part of life and growth. I am reminded of a youtube video named “Stuck Joey.” In this video, a little boy named Joey manages to get his head stuck in a porch fence. Joey and dad work to get him out with no success. After about two minutes, Joey’s face brightens up and he says. “I know what to do.” He tries to reposition himself a few times and then is able to get out. His bright idea was to move forward instead of trying to pull backward from where he came. I feel as though this is a lesson for all of us. We will all be stuck from time to time. Even when we have an idea of what to do, there is often a struggle of knowing how to get it done. Like Joey, often we need to reposition ourselves and move forward because going back is not an option. Have a wonderful weekend.

Strategic Plan Survey
This fall, MSD of Warren Township will be creating a comprehensive strategic plan based on community input that will ensure all students and staff have the conditions necessary to develop and apply Journey of a Graduate (JoG) skills and dispositions. The Journey of a Graduate skills are a set of 6 skills and dispositions that have been identified by our community needed for success in and out of school. The JoG skills are Critical Thinking, Citizenship, Communication, Collaboration, Content Knowledge, and Resilience. These JoG skills will serve as the foundation of the district strategic plan.
One way the district will capture community input is through an online survey. Linked below is a short survey that will ask questions around our strengths as a district and help us identify areas for improvement. ://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScSrLnwrx4AZnV5cgO30vML63TVtXIT1mm758VmH58Tvxxyfg/viewformDates to Remember
