A Letter from the Board President
Oakdale Public School | September 21, 2022
The Oakdale Board of Education has received Dr. Joe Pierce’s letter of resignation. He will be
leaving his role as Superintendent of Schools at the end of 2022.
The Board of Education will meet next Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 6PM during a Special Meeting to discuss our plan for the new Superintendent search. We will provide more details to parents, staff, and the community following that first discussion.
Oakdale School will continue to provide the exemplary learning environment our students and
families expect and deserve. As always, we are grateful to our experienced, dedicated teachers and staff. They will keep everything running smoothly as we move forward together.
The Board and I want to thank Dr. Pierce for his service to the district and we wish him all the
best with his future endeavors.
Sincerely,
Todd Corbin, President
Kimber Shoop, Vice President
Erin Hulsey, Clerk
